Howard Humphreys is a founding director of Seismic Research and its lead research analyst. Howard holds a Bachelor of Economics (Econometrics), and a Masters of Economics (Hons), from the University of Sydney. In addition to his role at Seismic Research, Howard is also the Head of Research at Wentworth Global Capital Partners, a boutique corporate advisory firm.
Howard has been penning independent commodities-focussed research for over five years and wrote an overnight market note for the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) in 2011 and 2012. In early 2012 Howard co-founded Mining Hive, a platform for networking in the resources sector.
Prior to Seismic Research, Howard was an assistant resources analyst at Martin Place Securities (MPS), a resource sector investment and broking firm. At MPS, Howard covered a wide variety of ASX-listed mining and energy stocks, specialising in emerging opportunities in the resource sector.
Henry joined Seismic Research in 2013 as a research analyst. Prior to this he spent two years at Bell Potter Securities as a Dealing Associate in retail stockbroking, focusing on research, sales and trading for high net worth clients. Henry is ADA derivatives and RG146 accredited.
Henry graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney in 2011 with a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies.
Anthony Hargreaves, a founding director of Seismic Research, has extensive experience in corporate advisory, managing capital raisings and organising investor and broker roadshows. Tony has helped manage and lead capital raisings that have supplied over A$150 million to the Australian resources and innovation sector.
In late 2010, Tony founded Ivy Ventures, a company that offers capital raising, corporate advisory and investor advisory services. Tony is a qualified broker and holds a Bachelor of Economics with a double major in Economics, from the University of Sydney.
David Sutton has over 30 years experience in the resources investment sector. David was a partner and director of several ASX securities firms, including Clarke & Co, and he has also held directorships at TA Securities and Hudson Securities.
In late 2009, David founded Dayton Way Financial, a resource sector investment banking and broking company. Dayton Way is a corporate partner of Seismic Research that provides corporate finance, investment research and stockbroking services.
